Galaxy Note 8 and S8/S8+ getting video lockscreen feature like Galaxy S9

If you are a user of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and S8/S8+ both devices are recently received new software updates. The latest update included a cool new feature that remains largely unnoticed. In it was, as it turns out, a completely new feature.

This function allows users to set a video as the phone’s lock screen wallpaper. In other words video on your lock screen. Indeed, the same function that we know from the Galaxy S9. On both the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 you can find a separate video lock screen after the recent updates in the Backgrounds tab of Samsung themes.

Now go to the video of your choice in your Gallery app, tap the three dots in the top right corner and choose Set as background.
