Galaxy S9 gets another update : Samsung is going through some serious problems due to call drop/quality issue on its new Galaxy S9 smartphones. Now, it seems like we have a solution for this issue.
Samsung is rolling out a new software update for Galaxy S9 smartphones. The update includes a fix for call drop and quality issue. Also, the quality of Wallpaper has been improved.
The update firmware version is G960FXXU1ARD4/G965FXXU1ARD4 for Galaxy S9/S9 Plus. That is different than the firmware with the April patch that arrived last month and carried version number G960FXXS1ARD1/G965FXXS1ARD1.
The update is currently available only for Spain, Italy, UAE and Ireland (Vodafone) for the moment. In few days it will be available for all the other countries!.
WE CAN NOW VERIFY THAT THE PROBLEM IS RESOLVED. CHECK BELOW:
A USER, MISTY71 SAID:
“Just a quick update from Ireland. I made a 25-minute call on my way to work this morning. No drop/gaps but after 23 minutes I got terrible interference on the line. The person on the other end couldn’t hear it but I clearly could. Might be just a once off but I wanted to point it out as it’s not something I’ve experienced before. Other than that I’m really happy to report the issue is fixed 😊”
ANOTHER USER SAID:
“As an update from my side (Vodafone Ireland), I’ve made a few more long calls since yesterday (last one was 40 minutes about an hour ago) and happy to report no issues Smiley Happy”
ANOTHER USER REPLIED:
“I think you are 100% correct. Its just something I’ve not had happen before on either the S6 or S7 Edge. Been using the phone all day though and not a blip. Delighted 😊”
