Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro will officially launch with Kirin 980 on October 16

Huawei has confirmed the Kirin 980 processor will power the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, set to be launched in London on October 16, The poster for the launch event comes with the words ‘A HIGHER INTELLIGENCE IS COMING’, with the ‘A’ and the first ‘I’ from ‘INTELLIGENCE’ highlighted in red. This confirms that Huawei’s Mate 20 and Mate 20.





It is expected to be part of the UI of these phones, not just the camera. Huawei recently launched a 7nm SoC, Kiran 980 processor with the capabilities of Artificial intelligence (AI) in IFA 2018. On this event, the company claimed that the chip has provided 20 percent better performance than the 10nm processor, and it claims to be more efficient than 40 percent.

Huawei could offer a 4200mAh battery on the Mate 20 Pro, which is also expected to have wireless charging support but provide a 4000mAh battery on Mate 20.

Rumors say that Mate 20 Pro can have an in-display fingerprint scanner, while Mate 20 will offer a back fingerprint sensor. Both are expected to expected to run EMUI 9, based on Android 9.0 Pie, and have notched displays.

And we are expected Mate 20 Pro have feature a triple rear camera setup like Huawei P20 pro.
