Microsoft Authenticator app on Apple Watch supports now available

Microsoft of all companies is soon launching its popular Authenticator application for watchOS. Now the company says that Authenticator will be launching on Apple Watch within the next few weeks. With a public preview program available through TestFlight. “The Microsoft Authenticator app on Apple Watch supports Microsoft personal, work, and school accounts that are set up with push notifications. All supported accounts automatically sync to the Watch.”

Unlike standard app-based authentication, which usually requires typing in the 6-digit code, Microsoft uses the approval/decline method. With Apple Watch support, users will simply need to tap the “Approval” button on the Apple Watch notification.
