OxygenOS 9.0.2 for OnePlus 6, adds Nightscape mode, Studio Lighting and more

OnePlus 6 users are receiving a new software update. This new update comes with a new security patch and device improvements. The latest software update brings OxygenOS 9.0.2 for OnePlus 6 alongside adds Nightscape and Studio Lighting that already in OnePlus 6T.





Nightscape: By using ‘AI to reduce shakiness’, the Nightscape mode helps take brighter photos at night that the company claims will be vivid with more clarity and less noise.

The new update also brings Android November security patch update and new navigation gestures. OnePlus improved UI for About phone, Optimized standby power consumption and added support to launch Google Assistant or other third party assistant app by holding the power button for 0.5 seconds

This OTA will have a staged rollout. The OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. Using VPN to download this build might not work as the rollout is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices.
