Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus and Note 8 on T-Mobile & Verizon receiving May security patch

Samsung release so many devices for May security patch. Now Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus and Note 8 users on T-Mobile & verizon are getting May 2018 security patch, T-mobile is rolling out this update to users of the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus, and Galaxy Note 8 who bought their device through the carrier.

The May security patch includes fixes for 55 CPUs – Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures – released by Google for the Android OS. Along with Google patches, there are also a number of fixes specific to Samsung’s own apps and interface.

The Galaxy S8, S8 Plus and Note 8 receiving May security patch on Baseband versions G950USQS3CRE2G955USQS3CRE2, and N950USQU4CRE1 respectively. You can download this update manually by navigating to phone’s setting and from there go to ‘about phone’.
