Samsung’s ‘Curved Edge Display’ technology could be featured in Oppo Find X, hinted in a new poster

June 11, 2018, It was previously reported that Samsung will provide flexible OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display panels to OPPO, and today Oppo’s official Twitter account posted a teaser pic of its new flagship Oppo Find X, which shows its curved edges like screen.

According to the industry source, Samsung will supply 6.42-inch flexible (bent) OLED panels to Oppo from the end of this month. This is the first time when Samsung has supplied flexible OLED panels to Oppo.

It was also reported that Oppo could release its new edge screen phone in July where Find X will be released a bit early for that, but new Find X – 6.4-inch bezel-less screen seems to be the same as Samsung supplied.

Samsung’s flexible OLED panels, which are the most expensive among existing panels, costs are around $100 a piece. For this kind of deal, Oppo needs to install these panels in a premium model where Oppo Find X perfectly fits in, let’s see if the phone features edge display or not when it hits the stage on June 19.
