The first certification was received by the Samsung Galaxy S10 models Chinese CMIIT. According to the inspection, everyone is expecting the first Samsung smartphone with four cameras on the back, while the Galaxy S10 is already in an advanced stage.
On September 25, 2018, Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT) published certificates (via Mobielkopen,) of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S10 devices with model numbers SM-G9700, SM-G9730 and SM-G9750.
Samsung is also reportedly preparing a separate 5G variant of the largest Galaxy S10 model. It may only be offered in select markets like the United States and South Korea without a separate model number. That’s because there aren’t a lot of markets where commercial 5G networks will be operational by early next year.
The model numbers SM-G9700, SM-G9730 and SM-G9750 are the logical follow-up to the model numbers of the Galaxy S9 models with SM-G9600 and SM-G9650. These are the three Galaxy S10 models that are expected:
- beyond0lte: 5.8-inch display and single camera
- beyond1lte: 5.8-inch display and dual camera
- beyond2lte: 6.44-inch display and triple cameras
- beyond25G: 6.44-inch display, triple camera, and 5G support
We can expect to see additional certifications for these three Galaxy S10 models to come up in the next few weeks. Samsung won’t be confirming much about the Galaxy S10 in this period.
