Top 8 iPhone XS Max Hidden Features, Tips, and Tricks

You will be able to Learn top 8 iPhone XS Max Hidden Features, Tips, and Tricks. That You Must Check Out. Today we are here with Detail guide on iPhone XS Max hidden features. As we all know, it’s not the hardware specs alone that define a phone. The software also plays an important role in making it a complete experience.

1.) Bring back the home button (sort of)

Honestly, you get used to not having a home button pretty quickly. But if you simply can’t live without it, there is a way to bring it back (albeit in virtual form).

Go to General > Accessibility > AssistiveTouch and turn it on. You’ll now see a virtual home button that you can customize to activate shortcuts.

You can set the virtual button to go home with a single-tap, double-tap, long press, or 3D Touch. Or set the button for other shortcuts like launching Control Center. Additionally, if you’re worried about screen-burn in, we recommend lowering the “Idle Opacity” setting below the 40 percent default.

In some ways, this virtual home button is more versatile than a physical one. You don’t have to place it where the real button used to be — it can be placed anywhere along the sides of the display.

2.) Quick-scroll to top of page

When you want to get back to the top of a website, app or text document, you can tap on the notch to jump to the beginning.

3.) Reachability still exists

It still exists, but it’s no longer enabled by default. Go into Settings > General > Accessibility and slide the Reachability switch to the On position.

Now, whenever you want to lower the screen to make something at the top easier to access, just swipe down on the bottom of the display. Easy as that.

4.) Show Battery Percentage

iOS doesn’t display the battery percentage by default, but you could go into the Settings app and turn it on. On the iPhone X, the setting’s been removed. But have no fear. You can still see the battery percentage by swiping down on the right side of the notch. It’s now incorporated into the Control Center.

5.) Double Tap The Side Button For Apple Pay

When you double-click the side button on the right-hand side of the device, it will open up Apple Pay. This makes it easier for you to pay bills without having to take your debit or credit card out of your wallet.

6.) Power Off/Medical ID/Emergency Call With The iPhone XS Max

To power off, pull up the Medical ID or make an emergency call with the iPhone X, you will need to hold the side button and either of the volume buttons at the same time. And then slide to power the device off, pull up the Medical ID or make an emergency call.

7.) Force a hard restart

If your iPhone X becomes totally unresponsive, you can try forcing a hard restart.

Quickly press and release Volume Up, then Volume Down, then press and hold the Side button. Remember, do not hold down either of the volume buttons, but do hold the Side button. After holding it for about 10-15 seconds, you’ll see the Apple logo, and you can let go.

8.) Hide The Notch on the Lock screen and Home screen

If you don’t like the notch on the Lock screen or the Home screen, you can use a wallpaper that hides the notch part. You can find multiple wallpapers like this. Or you can use an app like Notch Remover to make your own.
