Top 8 Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Hidden Features, Tips & Tricks

You will be able to Learn top 8 Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Hidden Features, Tips, and Tricks That You Must Check Out. Today we are here with Detail guide on Samsung Galaxy Note 9 hidden features. As we all know, it’s not the hardware specs alone that define a phone. The software also plays an important role in making it a complete experience.

With a 6.4-inch display, the Galaxy Note 9 is huge, and it’s no joke to maneuver it with one hand. However, on some occasions when you do need to operate it single-handedly, the Note 9 has a nifty trick up its sleeves.

All you need to do is tap on the Home button thrice, and the screen will be resized in the blink of an eye. No more business of diving into the settings every time you want to do that.

To enable this setting, go to Advanced features > One-handed mode and toggle the switch for Button.

As we have mentioned above, the Galaxy Note 9 has a Bluetooth enabled S Pen. With Bluetooth, the S Pen can be used as a remote. You can use the S Pen button to Play/Pause music or videos, to change a presentation slide, or as a remote shutter to click images.

You can also assign long-press action on the button to directly jump to a particular app.

This feature actually arrived with the Note 8’s Oreo update in March, but it’s worth pointing out here. If you’re the kind of person who uses their phone in landscape mode a lot, you no longer need to flip your phone when you leave an app. Inside the Home Screen settings you’ll see a toggle marked Portrait mode only. Turn it off, and your home screen will rotate when your phone is turned sideways, just like your apps.

Hypothetically, there could be things on your phone you don’t want anyone else to see. I’m not here to judge. I’m just here to tell you to use Secure Folder, a feature for encrypting apps and files tied into Samsung’s Knox security platform. You can get started by opening Secure Folder in your app drawer. Sign into your Samsung account and choose a secure unlock method to create the folder (this part might about a minute). When Secure Folder is open, you can add apps and files with the toolbar at the top. Everything in Secure Folder is kept separate from the rest of the phone, so only you can access it. You can also change the Secure Folder icon and label to make it more stealthy.

By default, the Note 9 only shows you three notification icons. What, does this phone have a display notch or something? To get more icons, you need to head into the settings. You’re looking for Settings > Display > Status Bar. Turn off the toggle for “Show recent notifications only.” Boom, more notification icons.

Don’t like the white block of text? Replace it with a transparent block. For that, head over to Display > Notifications and drag the slider for Transparency to High.

What’s great about this trick is that the text colour is automatically reversed to increase the screen legibility.

This is one of the most popular S Pen feature this year. You can use Live Messages to scribble a word or emoticon or anything else and then share the GIF across different messaging or social media apps.

You don’t need to open apps or even wake up your phone to take a note with the S Pen. Just pop it out of the slot when the phone is asleep, and you’ll get screen-off memo mode. Jot down your note, and hit save to add it to the Samsung Notes app. You can also tap the “pin” icon at the top of the screen to keep the note on your Always-on Display for 30 minutes.

Hands aching from all that corner-to-corner reaching? Enable one-handed mode to reduce the display size for easy corner-to-corner access.
To activate it go to Settings > Advanced Features > One-Handed Mode, Toggle to it ON or OFF > Select Gesture or Button to perform the action.
