Verizon Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus now receiving June Security Patch

Finally, Samsung has started release June security update for network one by one. Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus users are receiving a new software update on Verizon. The latest update brings Android June 2018 security patch and few other improvements.

Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a software update for your Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus device. This software update has been tested to optimize device performance, resolve known issues and apply the latest security patches.

The software version for Samsung Galaxy S9-(June 1st, 2018 patch, software version R16NW.G960USQS2ARF4) and Samsung Galaxy S9+-(June 1st, 2018 patch, software version R16NW.G965USQS2ARF4). To download this update manually, open the phone’s settings, navigate to and tap Software update, then tap Download updates manually

Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus update, Before you actually download the update and install it, make sure that your handset is connected to a Wi-Fi network or a strong Verizon signal. At the same time, you’ll want to charge your batteries to full strength. Once both of these tasks are completed, you can start the updating process.
