Verizon LG V40 ThinQ getting a new software update. If you’re a Verizon user owning the LG V40 ThinQ, prepare to be delighted with all new camera functionalities on your Penta-camera phone! The latest update brings Android security patch, new camera features and more.
You’ll be able to see two new camera features on your phone – My Avatar and Augmented Selfie. This update, in addition to the new camera features, also updates the phone with Android October security patch. Verizon users and bears software version V405UA10c.
Now you create your own avatar combining your own facial expressions using the selfie camera.
Camera – My Avatar
Create a human avatar by combining your own expressions.
- In Selfie mode > Sticker, the user can take a picture or record a video with My Avatar
- The user can create their own Avatar with the “avatar +” button
- With “Save avatar as GIF” checked, 15 different animated My Avatars are saved in the Gallery > My Avatar folder
Augmented Selfie allows you to add different backgrounds to your photos in portrait mode.
Camera – Augmented Selfie
Expand the possibilities with augmented reality.
- In Portrait mode, the user can apply different backgrounds using augmented reality
- The user can select a solid background colour from the palette, select an image from Gallery, or take a picture
- When a user takes a picture of a person after selecting a background, Augmented selfie will merge the background and captured portrait
